STATEMENT FROM MSAF
REGARDING THE RE-OPENING
OF PARAGLIDING SECTOR
DURING PKPP

Message from the President

 Re-opening of paragliding sector under conditions throughout PKPP period.

 

Following changes to restrictions put in place to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the MSAF PG Committee has continued the process of bringing paragliding sports back on track. As we are all aware, paragliding are one of the authorized activities that can be done during PKPB period and now we would like to announce that paragliding activities will be fully re-open with “new normal” routine under certain regulations as suggested by Majlis Keselamatan Negara (MKN) and Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia (KKM).   

 

Authorized activities are as follow :

          1) Solo paragliding (accuracy & cross-country)

2) Tandem paragliding (training & commercial)

3) Ground activities between landing to take-off area including ground handling and paragliding kiting

4) Maintenance/upgrade all related equipment and facilities on paragliding sites.

    

Please bear in mind that, all this authorized activities must be done by following the guideline and safety standard of operations (safety SOP) to prevent any covid-19 infection among our community. Failure to comply may result in further legal action by local authorities and Malaysia government.
